World leaders, government representatives, businesses, sub-national governments, and civil society have convened in Baku, Azerbaijan, for the United Nations Climate Conference. A central focus of the negotiations is establishing a new international finance goal to fulfil the climate objectives set in the 2015 Paris Agreement, endorsed by nearly 200 countries.
